Zoom Out

A famous face starts as a close-up on the face and zooms out over 30 seconds. Type the name before it gets obvious.

A famous face fills the screen, far too close to recognise, and slowly zooms out. The sooner you name them, the more it is worth.

How to play

  1. A photo starts as a close-up on part of a face and zooms out over 30 seconds.
  2. Type the name at any moment: a last name is enough. Wrong guesses cost you nothing but time.
  3. You can pass. There are 3 faces.

Scoring

For each face: 330 points if you find it at once, falling to 30 at the last second. Missed: 0.

What it works

  • Spatial intelligence You recognise a whole face from a small fragment.
  • Creative recall You need to get from a face you recognise to the name.
  • General knowledge You have to know who they are in the first place.
